Lynas has demanded me to retract my statement and apologize within 7 days. Many reporters have called to ask for my response on this matter. I told them that all this while our words and actions have been based on truths. I believe the 1.2mil Malaysians who are standing with us share the same view. History of #PowerShiftMsia
It all began with Global Power Shift, a summit held in Istanbul, Turkey from 24 to 30 June 2013. For seven days, 500 young climate leaders from 135 nations, including seven Malaysians, shared stories and developed skills to organise and manage campaigns. The seven came back to Malaysia determined more than ever to create a national movement calling for climate action and hence, #PowerShiftMsia was born.

#PowerShiftMsia is a five-day workshop cum camp happening now between 10-15 Dec 2013. This event has brought together young and passionate climate leaders from all over Malaysia to participate in workshops such as Policy & Governance, Understanding Media, Digital Campaigning and Creative Activism, as well as talks concerning local climate and environmental issues that will equip participants with the skill and know-how to plan and execute climate awareness-raising actions successfully.
