綠色盛會主席黃德發出最後通牒，限科學、工藝及革新部自週四開始的10天內，向全馬人民公佈稀土廠輻射性稀土廢料課題的真相，否則，綠色盛會將於8月2日（下週五）直接前進科藝部辦公樓，逼問當局說出真相。“我們已經給了充足的時間讓科藝部做準備，我們要求當局公開所有相關文件，包括稀土廠提呈的廢料永久處置設施的建議書。”針對科藝部副部長阿布峇卡日前宣佈永久處置設備（PDF）將設在稀土廠內一事，他說，全民都無法接受廢料被埋在關丹的作法。
