On the eve of Mother’s Day, the beloved mom of our comrade Yong Hee passed away. Himpunan Hijau has sent our deepest condolences.<\/p>\n

I have always have strong admiration for Yong Hee, particularly his courage and commitment. About a year and a half ago, he and his daughter spent many nights at Dataran Merdeka with me during the ‘1 million signatures to Shut Down Lynas’ campaign. He is someone you can definitely count on to stand together at the frontline during all critical moments.<\/p>\n

He has also touched me with his generosity. Last year, when the ‘2800km Geen Ride to Shut Down Lynas’ bicycle team reached Segamat, he offered his newly renovated home for the team to stay in, before he himself moved in. His generosity is witnessed again during his mom’s passing when he made a contribution to our movement. With deep respect, I sincerely say thank you. – WT<\/p>\n
