And using building materials such as chipboard. And now they’re proposing to put them into fertiliser and use them crop trials in Western Australia. An estimated one thousand people picketed the Lynas rare earths plant in Pahang state on Sunday, in a fresh bid to have it shut down.

500km protest over cemetery shift nears end

One of the Pengerang residents disgruntled with the RM60 billion Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (Rapid) project, Chua Peng Sian, has embarked on the final leg of his 500km protest walk and is due to arrive in Kuala Lumpur this evening.

Chua’s 12-day journey is to protest against the relocation of Chinese cemetery in his village to make way for the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC).
