Yesterday I brought a team of 10 people to Bentong to get a clear picture of the devastation caused by the recent floods and to help in the cleaning works.
I was brought by Wong Tack to visit a few houses in Kg
Kemansur that need a lot of repair and cleaning. I was quite surprised to see DAP grassroot members from Johor, Perak, Penang, Melaka and many places helping the flood victims wash the houses, clearing the debris, muck and slush left behind by the deluge.Some of these teams were brought by our MPs and ADUNs while the others had volunteered their services to assist in the cleaning works at Bentong, Karak and Mentakab.
