On 28th September 2013, history was created when, in a mere 36 days, 1 million physical signatures were collected for a petition calling for the immediate shut down of the toxic radioactive plant Lynas. Two years on, our stand stays, the struggle continues and the spirit remain strong.
Lynas’s share price may be at a pathetic 3 cents but we will not give up until we see to its total collapse. We will also not forget those who have brought it in and support its existence in this country. It’s time these greedy, corrupt, selfish and heartless culprits repent and apologize, not just to us but most importantly to our children who need to live in this irreparable broken land. – Wong Tack.
