许多人劝我当一个聪明的政客，要我无须花费太多的时间在少数的弱势团体身上。
“为什么花那么多个周末的时间在帮助这一小群的群体，甚至他们当中很多都不是你的选民？” 他们问。
他们认为，我一刻千金的周末应该用来组织或进行其他对我的从政之路更有利的 “政治工作”。
然而，我坚信，政治是为全民服务。如若我们连少数的弱势群体都不愿意服务，那意味着我们根本还没有准备好从政。
明天早上，如果大家在文冬或加叻附近一带，欢迎大家前来参与。

Many people advised that it’s not politically wise for me to spend too much time on a few underprivileged or poor or sick.
“Why commit so many of your weekends to helping a small and same group of people who are not even voters?” they asked. My precious few weekends should be used to do “political work” like organizing or attending big functions, they said.
But I believe politics is about serving the people. If we are not willing to serve a few underprivileged or poor or sick, then we are not ready to be in politics.
