14 Nov. 2018 – Wong Tack, as Chairman of the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) accompanied YB Teresa Kok, Minister of Primary Industries to witness the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the Malaysian Panel-Products Manufacturers’ Association (MPMA) and the Linyi Panel Products Chamber of Commerce, People's Republic of China, in Putrajaya today.
The MoU involves collaboration in sharing technical and business information to promote the development of the wood-based panel industry in both countries.
The minister expressed hope that such initiative would bring more investments into the country as well as expand bilateral trade in wood-based panel products between China and Malaysia.
