Is this the development direction of our PH government – satisfying the greed of a few by digging up the entire nation?
Is our country that poor, economically and intellectually, that we have to resort to large scale destruction in order to survive?
Is this the nation – exploited and ruined, that we want to handover to our children?
In the past few weeks we have witnessed a series of statements, from academicians to scientists to even ministers, desperately trying to justify and legitimize the renewal of Lynas’ operating licence.
Will the rakyat allow our government to grant Lynas a big piece of our precious land to dump their half a million tons of toxic radioactive waste?
How much is Lynas going to pay for the use of our land for billions of years? How much is it going to cost our children to manage and maintain Lynas’ toxic radioactive waste dump for perpetually til the end of time?
I want to seriously warn all political leaders that the rakyat will not tolerate a betrayal on the Lynas issue.
