文冬的朋友，大选举行在即，为了确保我们每一张选票都能够透明和公正地计算在成绩里，我们需要您的一双眼睛，监督你的选票，守护你的未来。
文冬国会选区相当辽阔，有百多个投票站，因此我们需要至少400名监票员，在投票日当天站岗。
这场选举是人民与纳吉之战，也是改朝换代最佳的时机，希望各位文冬的朋友能够挺身而出，一起为终结60年的国阵暴政而努力。

Wong Tack, Happy Birthday ….
Today is your 59th birthday. 7 years have passed since the day we begged you to come to Kuantan to help us fight Lynas. At that time, you had just won a 5-years battle against a government proposed coal-powered plant in Sabah. Many may not know but it was during this campaign that you gave up government and local community positions – town councillor, Secretary General of Chinese Chamber of Commerce, member of school’s Board of Directors. All in all, that’s a total of 12 years of struggle for the environment and wellbeing of the people, and still counting. Perhaps it’s your destiny, having graduated with a degree in Environment whilst in Canada.
If in Sabah, you willingly gave up positions held, in Semenanjung you gave up your health. The 300km walk from Kuantan to KL and 36-days camped out at Dataran Merdeka to bring 1 million Malaysians together when the country was experiencing its lowest point after the rakyat lost the 13th GE, were not easy. In fact, it was quite a painful ordeal and wasn’t something someone of your background and stature need to go through.
Anyhow, we don’t know how you do it, but you seemed to have the most energy among all of us, even those younger than you by 10-20 years 😳.
For the past few years, you have quietly pounded the streets of the rural areas from morning til night, meeting and talking to grassroots from all walks of life. Reason being, after so many years of struggle, you know that to have a green environment, we must have a clean government.
Only those who are close to you will know of the sacrifices you made. Very few know of the many nights you spent, til this very day, in a room of a rented house with nothing but a thin used mattress donated by a supporter, to lay your often tired body. Or those many late nights you spent driving home through dangerous dark winding hilly roads 😢.
But no worries, you will always reassure us.
“This is my last cycle of life. I don’t have much time left. I just want to work very, very hard to see change happen. I hope we can leave behind something for our children which will make them proud of us,” you said.
But it’s a daunting battle ahead. You will be up against the President of the MCA. It’s raining 💰 in Bentong. And it’s going to get heavier 💰 💵 💰, nastier and dirtier.
But no worries, for we are confident, the rakyat will not allow you or the community of Bentong to shoulder this burden of taking down this corrupt and evil 60-year old Goliath alone. You will not walk alone.

Berkenaan dengan satu posting Facebook mengenai aduan terhadap jalan-jalan yang rosak sekitar Bentong dan Ketari, saya ingin menjelaskan beberapa perkara.
Saya telah membut aduan dan laporan kepada pihak Majlis Perbandaran Bentong (MPB) mengenai kerosakkan jalan-jalan ini sepanjang 5 tahun ini. Aduan dilakukan kepada pihak MPB dan Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Bentong melalui surat rasmi dan mesej WhatsApp. Antara aduan dan laporan telah dikemukan seperti yang tertera dalam gambar-gambar di bawah. Sebenarnya jumlah aduan dan laporan adalah lebih dari ini tapi tidak dapat dikongsikan semuanya di sini.
Ingin dijelaskan bahawa kerja-kerja penyelengaraan jalan ini sebenarnya memang adalah di bawah tanggungjawab Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT) yang berkenaan dan JKR.
Sebagai ADUN yang berstatus pembangkang di negeri Pahang, saya hanya boleh membuat aduan dan memberi tekanan supaya mereka yang bertanggungjawab menjalankan tanggungjawab mereka yang sepatutnya.Ini telah saya lakukan dengan sehabis baik.
Wakil-wakil rakyat dan penduduk yang berstatus Kerajaan termasuklah Ahli Parlimen Bentong, Dato’ Seri Liow Tiong Lai, menteri Besar Pahang, Dato’ Sri Adnan Yaakob dan Ahli Majlis yang dilantik oleh Barisan Nasional seharusnya memainkan peranan mereka di dalam kerajaan dengan lebih efektif demi kebajikan rakyat dan penduduk Bentong.
Terima kasih kepada pihak yang membangkitkan isu ini untuk perhatian ramai. Terima kasih juga kepada pihak MPB dan JKR kerana telah membaiki jalan-jalan yang rosak seperti yang dilaporkan.
P/s : Surat yang dalam FB tu hanya surat kepada JKR sahaja, tidak termasuk surat aduan kepada MPB, kerana surat terlalu banyak. Jika sesiapa yang minat baca surat tersebut boleh datang pejabat DAP Bentong bila bila masa sahaja.
