Urgent: 15 orang termasuk Wong Tack selaku Pengerusi Himpuna…


Urgent: 15 orang termasuk Wong Tack selaku Pengerusi Himpunan Hijau dan Ahli Parlimen Bentong serta Hew Kuan Yau telah disabitkan bersalah oleh Mahkamah Sesyen Kuantan atas pertuduhan menyertai perhimpunan haram dan menimbulkan kekacauan.

Hukuman denda yang dikenakan ke atas 15 orang adalah dari RM 1000 hingga RM1500, dengan jumlah sebanyak RM24 ribu. Mereka dikehendaki membayar denda sebelum dilepaskan dan akan masuk ke penjara selama 40 hari sekiranya denda tidak dibayar.

Himpunan Hijau adalah sebuah NGO. Tabung Himpunan Hijau telah hampir dihabiskan bagi Kempen Bantah Lynas dan juga kos perbelanjaan berdepan ke makhamah.

Maka, Himpunan Hijau menyeru kepada orang ramai agar menderma kepada 15 orang pahlawan hijau tersebut yang berani.

Terdapat t 15 buah Kampung Baru Cina di Bentong. Saya hanya kalah di Manchis pada PRU13. Semalam, buat pertama kalinya dalam 60 tahun, sebuah Bilik Gerakan PRU ditubuhkan di Manchis. Sambutan yang di terima daripada penduduk2 setempat amat baik sekali. Ada yang balik awal dari ladang hanya untuk menghadiri majlis perasmian Bilik Gerakan kami.
Angin Perubahan Rakyat Malaysia sudah tiba. Pada 509, saya yakin kita akan menyambut sebuah kerajaan yang baru.

文冬有 15 个新村。上届大选除了文积，我几乎得到文冬所有新村的多数票。
但是昨天，最具历史性的一刻就发生在文积。60多年走来，昨天文冬民主行动党成功在文积成立了第一间行动室！令我们感到惊喜的是，当地群众也对我们成立行动室一事，予以我们意料之外的热情回响。许多居民更是为了出席我们行动室的开幕仪式，而特意提前下班。

这届大选，全民海啸将要掀起。

我深信，乘着全民的改变之风，我们将迎来新政府新希望。

There are 15 Chinese New Village in Bentong. I won all in the last GE except Manchis.
Yesterday, for the first time in 60 years, a Bilik Gerakan is set up in Manchis. The support from the locals was way beyond our expectations. Some of them even came back early from their farms just to attend our launching ceremony.
The Malaysians Wind of Change is here. It is real. On 509, I’m confident we will usher in a new government.

The trial of our 15 green comrades who peacefully protested against the evil corporate colonizer Lynas at the doorstep of their toxic radioactive plant in Gebeng will resume from 26-27 Sept 2016, 9am at Kuantan Sessions Court.

Tomorrow, on the 18th Nov @ 9am, the 15 …


Tomorrow, on the 18th Nov @ 9am, the 15 of us who have been charged for participating in the 622 Shut Down Lynas protest will again appear in the Kuantan Sessions Court.
Our spirit remain high and the flame of justice inside us will continue to burn bright.

The case of our 15 comrades who are unjustly charged for the peaceful ‘622 Shut down Lynas’ protest outside the Lynas plant on June 22nd last year will be up for mention again this Thursday, 30 Apr 2015, 9am at the Kuantan Session Court.

To quote Dato Ambiga, “What have we done to deserve this?”
Yes, what have our comrades done to deserve being kicked, beaten up and charged in court by our own fellow Malaysians? For standing up against a greedy foreign corporate colonizer like Lynas, whose toxic radioactive plant poses massive irreversible risks to the wellbeing of our future generations and land?

The case of the 15 charged for participating in the ‘622 Shutdown Lynas’ peaceful protest will be postponed to 13th March 2015.
There are new developments in the evidence presented by the prosecution which our legal team needs to seek further clarifications from the Attorney General.

During the 1.5 hours dialogue with the E…


During the 1.5 hours dialogue with the Embassy of Japan yesterday, Wong Tack clearly told them that the people of Malaysia will not allow a repeat of the toxic Bukit Merah legacy in Gebeng. Japan must atone for their past mistakes and uphold their principles and high standards. We have submitted the following demands to the Japanese government :

1) That all Japanese financing and business with Lynas is revoked and stopped immediately;

2) That Japan will commit to working with Malaysians to resolve this most critical issue and not engage in future investment and developments that threaten Malaysia’s environment, Malaysian lives and livelihoods and future generations.

The Japanese Embassy has promised to bring this up to their government and give us a response in 2 weeks time.
