– Wong Tack.
“In his speech in Kota Kinabalu last Saturday, Lim Kit Siang recounted how he felt during May 13th. At that time he was in Sabah and was persuaded by everyone not to go back. But he decided that, in times of trouble, as a leader, he must stand together with the people and face whatever consequences. Kit Siang was arrested the moment he stepped off the plane at Subang Airport. And then with great sadness, he said that he truly understands how Dato Seri Anwar must have felt when he was to return home from Europe last week. He too has decided that as a leader, he will not walk away.
The green movement has always champion for a fair and just society. And today, we call upon all to stand in solidarity with Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Together we must ensure justice is upheld.” – Wong Tack
